Originally the song was to be sung by the great Surendraji of Anmol Ghadi
fame.H ow ever Anil bis was changed his mind probably due to some
misunderstanding and song was given to mannadey. Surendraji has a soft
golden voice that in fact suits saints like kabir mahatma? I am not
degrading mannadey. He has a ringing voice.however Surendraji stopped
singing after gawaiah in which he gave three great solos?We lost the
contribution of a legendary golden voice singer due to the. Cranky ways of
some MD.surendraji continued to act in character roles in limited way and
passed away in 1987.W e are the losers.

I too have been searching this songs for very long time.Thanks for this
upload.We had 78 RPM disc of this and unfortunately lost.How?No idea at
all!May be broke!Asked soooo many people I know loversof old songs as well
aware of this song,but none have this.
