mai ek lahar hu jo, samay ki nadi se
bas tumse milne, kinare thi aayi
magar jo bhi ho, har ek lahar ko
mit jana hai, nadi me hi jaake
tumko maine chaha bhi hai, tumhi ko maine gam bhi diye
sharminda hu, sharminda hu, sharminda hu
tumko maine chaha bhi hai, tumhi ko maine gam bhi diye
sharminda hu, sharminda hu
sach kahti hu dil hi dil me, sharminda hu
mai agar sans thi, tum khusbu the, kaise kaise pal pal yado ke
tumhe aise kho ke, akeli mai zinda hu kyu
kagaz tha mai hawa me udta, tune mujh par jaane kya likh diya
mujhko ab to naye sabd hai mil gaye, hai sabd ye pyar ke
tumko maine chaha bhi hai, tumhi ko maine gam bhi diye
sharminda hu, sharminda hu
sach kahti hu dil hi dil me, sharminda hu
sitaro se aage jaha aur bhi hai
abhi ishk ke imtiha aur bhi hai, aur bhi hai
tu shahin hai parwaz hai, kaam tera tere samne
aasman aur bhi hai, sitaro se aage jaha aur bhi hai
tum ho sach ke ho koi parchhai
kya tumhe ek khwab ho, jo kahi nahi
bhigi hai palke meri, takiye hai mere man
tum hi batao mujhko, kaise bhulau ye gam
tumko maine chaha bhi hai, tumhi ko maine gam bhi diye
sharminda hu, sharminda hu, sharminda hu
I finally got why this movie was a nearly absolute failure and Vinnai
thaandi Varuvaaya is a classic. The actors. Prateik and Amy do a
commendably passable job. Prateik is charming, plays the character as a
lovable puppy dog. STR played it as a lovable guy, but he added an edge, an
almost imperceptible aggressive macho side. That made the character more
realistic and easier to connect to. Amy here is a stereotypical pretty
girl, idealistic doll, a mirage almost. Whereas Trisha played her as
someone with intelligence, doubts, worries, and a perceptible sharpness.
Someone real, who we could connect to. Someone we know in our daily lives.
Every scene was nearly the same, but EDT is a boring stereotypical
lovestory and VTV is a realistic classic romance.
