As Sonu put it, "The idea is to present a semi-classical song in a
non-boring way so that even this generation can appreciate it". The video
is a bit of commercial trash but like most Indi-Pop videos but the director
is to blame for it. For his part, Sonu looks great. I'm a die-hard Sonu fan
and I think the song (especially the "murkhiyas") was great. It's a bold
and a pretty good attempt at fusing Indian semi-classical with a bit of
Western Jazz razmatazz :-)) Great going, Sonu.

Hi Sonu Ji, I was thinking to become singer but after listening your this
song, my spirit is dead now to sing because you have finished everything in
this song nothing left for us to sing. I really like it and I have gifted
your this album to all my singer friends and my gurus from which I have
taken music sense and I am still taking music knowledge. REally
amazing..Keep it up.. Great India and Indians

@RatRaceAce he focuses more on live performances, own albums these days.
Every now and then he does playback singing but clearly he didn't like the
harsh reality of actors getting all the credit and the singers pushed to
the backroom. You and I know Rafi saab is much more talented in what he
does than, say Big B but sadly he isn't more popular. That's why Sonu tries
to get out from his comfort zone.

@harshiljoshi I can get your point. But I think that's what Sonu intended
to do. Classical music is on verge of extinct coz you don't hear it on mass
media and let's face it, teens of today never go for some classical concert
by Pandit Jasraj, Ustad Zakir Hussain. It's only the middle age group
that's surviving it, Sonu's definitely one of them. And I think fusing it
little with modern Western music is a smart smart idea, it'll appeal to
youngsters if not your age group. I'm with Sonu on this.
