This is a magnificent early Zeenat number; the sensuality she exudes under
her seemingly 'proper' exterior is phenomenal. Here it is obvious that she
had the gifts of a superb thespian: Her gift for paradox, specifically
fusing subtlety with panache was already apparent. I fancy that her aura
was slightly too mature for a number like this even at this stage of her
career; what was clear here was that she would become brilliant. Lastly,
the alluring rhythm & vocals set the scene beautifully:)
