throughout the movie.also the character Emma, or in this case Aisha, will resonate with girls/women...we all have a little bit of her in us: we want to sort out our friend's lives but the lesson is that we cannot possibly have that much control because life is uncontrollable. And the song's lyrics capture this perfectly :-)

@richerite from what i gather, the entire film revolves around gratifying the collective ego of anil kapoor's daughter. reinforcing conspicuous consumerism is just a happy coincidence. the music, taken on its own merits, is good, though.

did you now! this movie is a copy from a book of the great Jane Austen (1775 - 1817), and in Hollywood made a copy call Clulees her actrees was Alicia Silverstone and the text al almost the same.

I love this movie!! It's an adaptation of the book Emma by Jane Austen and there are scenes (or parts of scenes) lifted from the movie Clueless...but hey, it is not a TOTAL copy of the movie which is something to admire (we can't say the same for movies like Partner i.e. Hitch or U, Me aur Hum i.e.: The Notebook). The movie is entertaining without being brain dead...there is a story and fair enough, the story is an adapted one BUT there is also significantly good character development
