popular song very soulfully. Dilip Kumar ji gives full justice to this
excellent song with his facial expressions and acting. Mukhtar ji has made

ne) hi gaaya hai. Hemant Kumar ki aawaz mein ye geet sun kar tabiyat khush

Timir Baran is remembered most for this song from film Badban (1954)... the

Thanks again for this exquisite visualization. This gem from 'Badbaan'
composed by Timir Baran is perhaps the last Hindi movie by the Composer.
Timir Baran/Pankaj Mullick held sway in the 30's in the era of 'New
Theatres'.However with the advent of the so called Punjab School of Music,
represented in 'Khazanchi' composed by Ghulam Haider changed the
scenario.And of course Naushad followed closely with the pathbreaking
'Rattan' in 1944.

If for some reason during Baadbaan one walked out and another was taken in to complete the songs. What MD composed which songs? Were these two nuggets composed by Timir Baran or S.K. Pal?

As we know that both Hemant and Geeta were Bengali yet they had different accents to this song. Hemant sang as "Zehre Hai Zindagi" while Geeta read as "Zeher Hai Zindagi". Both sang it well though. Regards
