I've loved Madhubala ever since I first saw her in Mahal about 30 years ago, can't seem to get hold of a DVD copy of Kala Pani, can anyone give me cliff notes on the premise of the song, as a westerner who loves old Bombay Studio films, I have to say that Madhubala was absolutely beautiful with an earthiness yet innocence that modern stars are sadly lacking.

@prongs9 winning an oscar does not mean a person is great , oscars are controlled by west so they always promote their artists , there is always a lobby working behind those awards . use your own judgement & wisdom , if u think Marilyn or Kate is better than Madhubala , then i seriously doubt your wisdom & knowledge on beauty , grace , dignity , soberness.
