kia baat hai ... wah zabardast... loved it. I have no words to express how
this song has touch my heart so deeply and remind me of my first love. this
actually happened in my life... As you can tell by reading galib, had
suffered with the same kind of pain. (i don't know much about the histroy

Both Mohd Rafi and Mahendra Kapoor are amazing singers but I personally
think that Mahendra Kapoor had a greater vocal range. His pitch and timber
were unbelievable. But that is me thinking.

Well, Rafi voice has so many jewels at a time that it is now like a standard like a Gold for currency.
So any singer sounds like Rafi is an honor not a degradation for the singer that is why Mehendra and Rafi both have mutual respect for each other. Sonu Nagam is the most popular and busiest singer now but still throws few Rafi's song and win the hearts of fans.

Brother shabbir, shailender and also anwar were greatly influeneced by
Rafi..I can understand that Mahender kapoor was a good singer but still
I fell that he is no match for the maestro himself..In slow numbers many
come close to Rafi .but when it comes to faster numbers Rafi is
unparalleled...Rafi is such a genius that ..there never will be anyone
like him.

Well mahender kapoor has done a good job.no doubt and he is a good
singer..but the fact remains that Rafi sahab can be matched..he was
much more versatile than the other singers like anwar, MK, shalender,
shabbir and sonu and others who are from his school. For example when MK
goes to higher pitch he cant controll his notes like Rafi sahab.moreover
sonu is quite shrill.

Yesudas when asked abt rafi sahab said something which is worth noting
because Yesudas himself is very melidious, he says." well what more can
I praize Rafi sahab ...every one has done it ...all I would say god has
