THANKYOU for including the scene before this time. Till today I had thought
that 'jaan' in this song means, 'to know/understand'. Cause of the
preceding scene, now I know that it means 'life' n that had made these
lines, "Dil cheez kya hai aap meri jaan lijiye" 100 times more beautiful.

This is the best muzra done in Indian films...possible by an actress of
calibre of Rekha.She has converted herself as Umrao Jan Adaa in this
muzra.I suppose Umarao Jan might have not performed as good as Rekha in the
real muzra done by herself. But Umrao Jan was a great shaira unmatched by
any other shiara in Urdu Adab.
