RealMusicKing on June 07, 2010
Sadly, this film only lasted 8 days in theatres. Songs were a blast.
sinhaharendra on July 16, 2010
Thekhanak in the voice of Rafi saab is outstanding and mind blowing.
Rmehtacpa on July 29, 2010
@RealMusicKing Yes indeed, all the songs in fact were fantastic. This duet
and Sapne main sajanse solo by Lata are at the TOP of them.
kurshi69 on August 09, 2010
One of the best romantic duets ever, displaying Madan Mohan's, Rafi &
Lata's genius at it's very best.
rumahale on August 11, 2010
@kurshi69 You are right. Thanks for liking and appreciation.

@Rmehtacpa @Rmehtacpa Few moments ago I listened to Harish's (amrutvani2)
new upload of "Na haso hum pe..." from GWoI. And I could not help
commenting that "Sapne me sajan se.." and "Do ghadi wo jo paas.." are two
diamonds for me among the gems Madan mohan created for this movie. Glad to
note they are also your choicest.
Kay Cee on December 05, 2010
Here is a he, who wants to close his eyes so his mouth can see, and a she,
who wants to catch anything that gets past her heart! Especially if it
comes packaged in his arms! Romance can be so beautiful when styled like
this. Great melodious duet and greater depth of eye contacts! Lovely upload.
savita damle on December 11, 2010

@ChimanJagani Thanks a lot. I stand corrected regarding name of the female
singer as Lata Mangeshkar.
rumahale on September 26, 2011
@crazyoldsongs Thanks for the information. I have since corrected. In fact
I had mentioned correctly but changed later with some doubt. The name
remained intact in the lyrics portion all the while. Thanks again for
having sorted it out.
crazyoldsongs on September 26, 2011
@rumahale you are always welcome .

Brillianr duet! madhu bala looks ethereal who wrote this? sahir?
Manoj Mahajan on October 04, 2011
Rafi, Lata, Madan Mohan, Rajender Krishna. No wonder a masterpiece. So
melodious, soulful. Above all, Mumtaz Jahan Begum Dehlavi, Madhu Bala for
you and me. The tragedy of Madhu Bala was that, her charms would overwhelm
her acting prowess. She was one of the best actress India has ever
produced. So natural. May her legend grow.
classicalgem on October 10, 2011
Two greats together. Rafi Sahab was as versatile as Lata ji.In some some songs he seems to surpass the excellence as a male voice. I do not wish to create a confusion or conflict, but its a fact that Moahammad Rafi was a lot neglected to be honoured and rewarded in his life time and after his death as well. Lata Mangeshkar stood too very fortunate to have been the extremely celebrated and awarded singer.
rumahale on October 12, 2011
@classicalgem Absolutely right. You have spoken my mind. I firmly believe
with your view; at the same time I too am not prepared to be a party for
confusion or conflict. I firmly believe that after all these worldly awards
do not matter much when Rafi Sahab and his heavenly voices are immortal.
Thanks.
Priyansh Doneparthy on November 26, 2011
What a melodious duet !! Anyone who knows Madan Mohan sahab's music will
surely say that this song was composed by him without looking at the
details. The lines "Do Ghadi Woh Jo Paas Aa Baiteh" pass through the heart
in such a way that we feel as if being blown away in a gentle breeze like a
feather.
Priyansh Doneparthy on November 26, 2011
I knew this song's tune since a long time, but it lay unconscious in my
mind. I happened to hear this on Vividh Bharti (Bhoole Bisre programme) as
part of my daily routine on 25th November, 2011. I quickly favourited it on
youtube through my mobile, I actually favourite all the songs that I listen
to in that programme (I would be in a bus at that time, daily) and now I am
peacefully listening to it (on the night of 26th November, 2011), 54 years
after the creation of this gem, away from all bad.

vaadaenmacchi on December 17, 2011
@Bajimastani well said mate! but someone who already had.. say mumtaz or
sadhana?
vaadaenmacchi on December 17, 2011
@Psyche1954 i think rajinder kishan or raja mehdi ali khan
Psyche1954 on December 17, 2011
@vaadaenmacchi thanks a lot BTW that song sapne mein sajan se do baatein is
a similar GEM all the way! what happened to such poetry? now they sing
"kolaveri di"? from sublime to the ridiculos! when a poor four uera old is
pushed to prominance by dummy brains like Sonu Nigam the rest of the media
celebrates? Sick or what? i feel sorry for the poor kid!
Psyche1954 on December 17, 2011
@vaadaenmacchi Thanks very much for the info mate!
Mani Menon on December 27, 2011
Madhubala could look so beautiful and so vulnerable! However, my heart goes
out to poor Bharat Bhushan. He was reduced to acting as a junior artiste in
TV serials! He was such a soft spoken, well read gentleman!
rumahale on December 31, 2011
@praneeth12394 Thanks for touching comments.
rumahale on December 31, 2011
@praneeth12394 Even after 54 years of creation it rules high in our heart.
It goes to the credit of genius Madan Mohan, well supported by two legends
of our time. Thanks again.

@kchopra4080able Very beautiful comments matching the beauty of the song. I
am so much impressed. Thanks.
Kay Cee on January 25, 2012
@rumahale And if I say all that I ever set out to do was to impress you! ab
to board ka imtihaan pass kar liya na!
divinemusic007 on February 18, 2012
Great music by the legends Rafi - Lata. The beauty of this video is that it focuses on Madhubala for a longer time and one gets to see her gorgeous expressive eyes. That's her magic. No matter how much advanced filmaking technology we have, such romantic songs wont be produced. Hats off Madhubala.
rumahale on February 19, 2012
@divinemusic007 Thank you very much for liking and rich appreciation.

Absolutely. It was by Rajendra Krishan. Thank you for liking.
Mani Menon on January 09, 2013
This duet had to sung by Rafi and Lata! This duet had to be picturised on
Bharat Bhushan and Madhubala! What a contrast! Bharat Bhushan's seriousness
in sharp contrast to Madhubala's impishness! Is there any way we could
trasport ourselves back to those golden years, rumahaleji?
rumahale on January 10, 2013
Very well said again. No answer for me. Thank you.
Narasimharao Pasumarti on February 04, 2013
