Such interludes absolutely ruined this film.This was one song that was a
bit of a time filler.The other occurance was Jacky Shroff trying to make it
with the ladies...come on; he was desperately trying to get his plane
off the ground throughout the exciting bits...never mind anything
else!(know what I mean)

Some poeple complains about this interlude that supposedly "ruined" the picture, these interludes actually help developp character and helped the picture be more human. To show that these men weren't just war machines without heart. Anyways, this song and this movie are superbe.

ya, his singing style & voice was reminiscent of mohd. rafi sahib but he discovered his own voice soon after..also, this song has a simple nature and it's so unlike the songs he sings these days. I'm sure he could sound just like that if he was given the right composition but those days are gone. as for his voice, listen to his rafi resurrected concert. what makes him utterly amazing is how he can portray his voice on such a wide spectrum-contemporary, sufi, classical..anything. sonu rocks!
