Q. Is this suppose to be a cursed ghazal? Is this a suicide song? love
song? or mere renunciation/alienation song?

A. This genre of Urdu poetry revolves around love. Real love is perpetual,
between the Creator and its creation and goes through the phases of;

Separation -> realization of love -> Intensification -> humankind-ness ->
reunion

Ephemeral love is between the creations but the order is reverse;

Love <> union -> manifestation -> reproduction -> separation.

Almost always, a poet leaves it up to the imagination of a listener be
touched by the type of love s/he is looking for. The separation and reunion
in real love are the parting of soul from its Creator at human birth and
rejoining at death, with in between the purpose of life. The phases in real
love are the fundamental pillars of a Sufi thought.
