Just WOW! Rafi saab, there is no singer born like you. And when your god
gifted voice combined with Nightingale like Lata the end product deemed to
be classic and everlasting melody.
Whenever I listen to such melody of Rafi Saab and Lata or their solos I
stop listening to today's music for a while, because I dont want to insult
these legends.
If anyone has even slightest ear to the music would know that when Rafi
saab and Lata sings their voices take precedence and instruments will
actually begin to sound better and not the other way around when today
singers scream from the top of their lungs calling it singing, we get to
hear instruments more than they voice, the reason because their voices are
so crass and ugly that they try to hide their voices behind the sound of
instruments.
When legends like Rafi saab, Lata, Asha, Mukesh & Kishore sings they dont
need musical instruments because their voices were sound of music.

memorable song for me. I heard this song when I was about 6 years living in
Lahore.We moved to Lahore late 1961. Whenever I used to visit Lahore it
appeared song is chasing me wherever I used to move. Extremely lovely song
depicting mortal love n affection between two hearts

I was a small kid (1961) we were living in Lahore and you could hear this
song all over. My father was then transferred to Karachi. However my
memories of listening to this song still remain even after more than 50
years gone by . Karachi environment was totally different.Even now whenever
I visit Lahore the old memories hurt me a lot

What a dream voice! Full of commitment, command, love, peace, tranquillity,
sedition, pleasure, hope, and comfort all these qualities when gets
combined with compositions and lyrics then miracle creates, Woh. I love it.
What a poetry and as icing on the cake, an immortal duet. He was absolutely
a great singer. No one could ever reach to his heights. A Unique
personality; this is probably the first super hit song of Khayam as an
independent composer.
