Dear sir, the movie name was " Meetha Zehar" and released in 1985. There
was an other popular song from the same movie in Kanchan's voice, "Pi pyare

Hi , I believe this song " Kabhi Hoti Nahin Hai " is from movie Josh released in 1980 staring Raj Kiran and Sarika. The music given is by Bappi Lahiri. Please check it out and confirm with me... I would like to reassure with myself. Thanks. Bye. - Alka.

Alka, first of all I really appreciate your concern about this song. I have
not seen the video of this song either. The place I bought this song, they
mentioned film" Meetha Zehar" MusicindiaOnline has this song under film "
Meetha Zehar" . The way music sounds in this song, it tells itself that
song was created in early 80s. After careful research, I found this song
from film, "Khara Khota" released in 1981 and I confirm it with you, this
song is not from film "Josh"

The movie is Khara Khota. Music is given by Babla brother of Kalyanji
Anandji not by Bappi Lahiri.

in metha zehar. music director was babla. he gave music for both movies.

I remember this movie. Hero was Deepak Prasher and this Dove eyed heroin
but dont know her name. She gets married to him to avenge the death of her
father. Ofcourse the hero was not the culprit. :)

There remains a confusion in the name... On TV this song always appeared as
Khrara Khota even the movie, but many places the movie name was quoted as
"meetha zahar"! Again music as I knew that was by Bappi Lahiri! Here I read
it was by Babla?

kapila..Meetha Zeher was a good movie...Original song is frm Khara

song. For those wanting to play on Guitar, try on Am (capo on 3rd, of
course will be diff. than original). Very basic riff from Am to E to D to C
for the 1st line.

Put capo on the 4th fret not 3rd (just figured out the whole song).
Original is in C#m but I think Am to E transition adds more depth to the
song. So put capo on 4th and play in Am!

Nice composition by Babla.. however resembles to Bappi Da's work. Foot tapping music and melodious voice of legendary--- Kishor Da.. Rythem part is very strong which Babla 's favourite field... Treat to listen.

1978-9 in Chitrahar under the name "Khara Khota" picturised with Raj Kiran
and Sarika on screen. But later I saw that the song in the movie "Meetha
Zeher" in 1980s on Doordarshan, picturised on Deepak Parashar & Padmini
Kapila!! There is a big confusion!

rk even i had seen the movie meetha zeher on doordarshan in the early 90's and tht's how i recollect this song...never saw it being picturised on raj kiran though...music is by babla as someone has mentioned earlier...but wt a song man..he was once in a generation singer...

The song is from the Fim "Khara Khota released in 1981.The music was
composed by Babla mehta,youngest of the Kalyan ji Anand ji brothers.There
was a stage programme of Babla in my city Bhopal in 1981 in which Babla had
put up a stall to sell his music cassettes of the film.This was probably
the first & last time that Babla had composed music for a Hindi
film.Otherwise, he has always remained a stage orchestra performer apart
from assisiting his Brthers Kyan ji Anand ji.

Friends just for info this song was filmed on Raj Kiran and I have shared
the full movie, a nice VHSrip right here on YT, do a search on the movie
name or swarint, it also has has that peppy number by Kishoreda ' pandrah
ki dulhan pachpan ', enjoii, cheers :)
