Sandipan Roy on October 26, 2009 Super song! Definitely one of the finest from Mukesh! Thnx for uploading!
Satyajit Roy on January 04, 2010 This song is remake of bengali song sang by Lata mangeskar
-Aami-Cholte-Cholte-Theme-Geyechi
raveya98 on February 21, 2010 Salil Da is the greatest composer of the world
lahiridilli on March 18, 2010 Undoubtedly a graet composer. His songs had a harmony which was very
unique. Western classical music style adapted in Indian style. He also
introduced the genre of protest songs in Bengali. Kudos
vaadaenmacchi on April 05, 2010 My fav. song of all time!
gunjanagarwal78 on April 18, 2010 ADORABLE SONG..GR8 MOVIE..
Anirban Shome on June 17, 2010 wht a song, grt composition, salil da is a bengali's asset
nileshdhepe on August 08, 2010 thanks a loot for this lovely song
Kuntal Mondal on August 27, 2010 @rsatyajit77 This song is not a remake of Lata's bengali song - rather it
is the other way. In 1972, Pintu Bhattcharya first recorded this great song
in Bengali as part of Puja album from HMV. At the same time or some time
later Salil da used same tune for "Rajanigandha" hindi movie and Mukesh was
the singer. After many years gone, in 1988 Lata recorded this song again as
her "Puja Album" from HMV - though the lyrics of Pintu's song and Lata's
song was slightly different.
Atma Prakash Sahoo on February 28, 2011 Amazing lyrics and composing
1gulraiz on March 20, 2011 the late salil da was a gifted music composer whose musical compositions were divine.
PointBhai on April 07, 2011 Missing Bombay.. :( A less crowded and congested version of Mumbai..

vjkamblay on May 07, 2011 I have not even seen this era in Mumbai, I was born in 1988, even then these movies by Basu Chatterjee and Hrishikesh Mukherjee create the strongest bouts of nostalgia I have known, perhaps it is because my parents belonged to this era and I was exposed to these movies as a small child, that I feel I have lived it. This movie and Rajnigandha are my favorites.
virginharry on May 09, 2011 @vjkamblay Its not even funny...the way you think n talk n feel just
like me. :) I was born in 1986 and connect with all this so well.
pav2007 on July 08, 2011 @vjkamblay This movie IS Rajnigandha!
pav2007 on July 08, 2011 For the affluent and affordable class you had 2 choices of cars -
Ambassador or Premier Padmini. Colour mostly white!!! All Mumbai Taxis were
Premier!! Parking could be managed at Dadar TT circle and Flora Fountain.
Remember taking a 385 BEST bus from Dadar TT to Ghatkopar in 20 mins flat.
No stops between Sion and Amar Mahal (Chembur) as it was all marshy land
with Everard Nagar sprouting! And not too long ago - mid 70s
shahid aly on July 17, 2011 @raveya98 i agree with you -salil sahab was a great , great composer but
his work and reputation suffered as it lacked variety - how and why ? he
couldn't look beyond lata mangeshkarand -her singing is great, truly so,
but lacks variety.
agramop on July 18, 2011 Yes... I did the same route in the late 80s and it was still the same. Except the smell of RCF and dead fish from the marshes. What a mess we have made with our population. And now, with the "growth", we have found a new way to be proud of it too.

Krishna Prasad Gopalakrishnan on November 01, 2011 Mukeshji was often accused of having a nasal 'straight line' voice which
did not admit of variations in pitch or melody. In my opinion that was his
strength. It was up to the director to give him the right type of song.
This song is a glorious example of his strength.
Ramesh Thakrar on November 17, 2011 One of the finest compositions by Salilji and melodiously sung by Mukeshji
Ramesh Thakrar on November 17, 2011 I believe there were only 2 songs in this film RAJNIGANDHA AND BOTH WERE
EXCELLENT. One of the finest compositions from Salil Da and melodiously
song by Mukeshji.
Ashim Kundu on November 20, 2011 HOMAGE TO SALIL CHUDHURY ON HIS BIRTH ANNIVERSARY THEY WERE SWEET MELODY
WITH SWEET LYRIC
sds1943 on February 25, 2012 @shahidaly1 With respect, I have to disagree with you. Characteristic
feature of Salil Choudhuri's compositions are their unpredictability; as if
there is a new sweet surprise awaiting the listener at the next corner, so
there is a great deal of variety in every sense. From his early days to the
late there are varieties of types of music he has created. He used LM
simply as she could bring out the best of his creations in some whilst used
others according to type of music he created.
allthingsgeek on March 13, 2012 amazing song, amazing words.. and it takes you to that less crowded bombay
.. nostalgic.

Gaurav Karunakar on April 17, 2012 Lovely music!
mukulkamat20 on May 07, 2012 Bombay of mid 70s.. A typical Amol Palekar movie.. The simplicity in those
movies attracted me the most.
mukulkamat20 on May 07, 2012 Real good city when I was not born when my mom and dad were in their
college days... Miss that BOMBAY

JustMeAtYT on June 05, 2012 हा हा... वो डाढी मूछों का जमाना और डाढी बढाके देवदास की तरह घूमना कुछ अलग
personality जमा रहा था.
sms111able on August 23, 2012 hindi music indusrty is missing the great composers , great lyricist like we had in 60''s, 70's, 80's.
the new ones are good but are not as great as the era gone by.
and of course there is no kishore, no rafi, no hemant kumar ,no mukesh ,to lend their voice and make these songs unforgetable.
sigh.
Rohit Mishra on September 14, 2012 awesome song n wounderful lyrics

sds1943 on October 11, 2012 I reckon AR is as good as SD and Salil and they were the best and he has
not even ended his innings yet! Agree about the singers though, especially
Lata.

kalpesh patel on December 01, 2012 just look at the Bombay city. more cleaner, not crowded like today. I still

Akshay Iyer on December 02, 2012 Bombay at its best.. A lesser crowded city and more cleaner with the double
decker buses riding across the streets.. :)
mousumi rose on December 07, 2012 nice song on true feelings...GREAT
Voltairec on February 02, 2013 Salilda's genius brought forth hitherto unexplored melodic angles from the
sweetest of voices-Mukesh; this is almost intoxicating..the melody/voice
haunts and envelops the conscious and sub-conscious! Yogesh saaab-take a
bow for the most profound lyrics. Man thodne lagtha hain..fantastic one
liner exposing/explaining all too human frailties at every turn of life!
Mohammed Raffi on February 08, 2013 Mukesh who says he sings with nose nop..listen to this song the
innocence and rendering absolutely matchless..R.I.P.superb lyrics
too..Bombay is crowded but crowed is not Mumbai...
