This is one of the most passionate songs I have ever heard and I do not
understand Hindi! Is it a poem? Where can I get its translation? I saw this
movie as a child.There was subtitles but I cannot locate it now. I listen
to a lot of music,from rock to classical and this is fantastic. Please the
lyrics.can you post the English translation. A very good video. I must
have viewed it over 100 times. Well done.

If you watch the movie the story at least doesnt state that.. looks way
ahead of what is shown in this song. however your first set of comments

You are right this movie has some bold scenes when we think from the angle
of that time or when we compare it with some other old movies.
Nevertheless, it is great movie watched all over the world; not sure
because of the story but certainly because of music. We can just listen
these songs and still can derive immense pleasure without knowing who acted
etc.
