Aishwarya could never ever compare to a goddess like Hema. Hema's beauty is so exotic, celestial, and unique. Aishwarya is so generic and she has no exotic appeal at all, she's very commercial. Hema also has the ability to be beautiful and cute and adorable at the same time. Aishwarya may be pretty in people's eyes but she can't pull off cute and adorable. She has zero charisma whereas Hema is pure on screen magic!

This is one of my all time favorite Hema movies! Her screen presence is so unique and magical. She looks so stunningly beautiful in this movie and is so adorable and lovable as "Reshma" a gypsy girl. Very romantic movie and great direction by Feroz khan. Very colorful movie.

Well, according to IMDb, this film was shot in Filmalaya Studios, Filmistan
Studios, Mohan Studios, Rajkamal Studios which are all in Mumbai, India. No
specific location in Afghanistan was mentioned, so this entire film wasn't
shot in Afghanistan. This video is clearly shot in a studio and not on
location anyway, hence the painted backdrop.

I say it again. Kabul was never a hippy city. Pathan groups always have had
special dancers for entertainment. Perhaps you can call it a city with
gypsy look alike. They known as Banjara's in India. Hippy's are morally
corrupted people of US in 70's.
