The wardrobe, set design, action sequences, music,& plot of Dharam Veer is all characteristic of the MAGIC of 70s Bollywood & no other film has captured the brilliance & uniqueness of that era better than this film. Manmohan Desai is a genius & my favorite film maker of all time!He truly knows how to be a perfect story teller in the MOST extravagant, exciting,& dramatic manner! SUPERB movie making style! Zeenat has never looked more stunningly gorgeous & Dharam has never looked hotter & manlier!

Never was knight more chivalrous than Dharam in this film. I believe his portrayal reminiscent of Connery in his pomp. Masculine stereotypes pervaded global cinema during the 1970's, making his portrayal impressive, by virtue of its lack of egocentricity: Languishing with love, he sought to be worthy of Pallavi, rather than affording her token status. Dharam & Zeenat gave superbly humane portrayals, while enabling the suspension of belief, kudos to all & sundry for an unabashed magnum opus.

I love from 4:07 to 4:09 as she has that naughty smirk on her face, totally knowing she 'won' in the situation with Dharam, & deciding that he has begged enough so she can finally give in, in true empress fashion:) Of course, Dharam ended up winning as well since he won her heart after much effort:) Aaah, I LOVE DHARAM, that knightly passion & honor which is totally missing from today's Cinema:) No wonder their pairing was mega successful, history has spoken already in terms of Box Office draw:)

@kalmorgh420 // U kidding me? Bashir is good but Rafi is the best. Remember that when Rafi was singing they they didn't have the studio voice fixing and smoothing equipment in studios. Todays singer fix their voices to much in the studios. Rafi was pure.

Rafi's versatility is just astounding..can sing very masculine, rugged romeo numbers as well as deeply soulful numbers 'thoote hue kwaabone' Garam/Dharam is the only real hero.it must be soul-crushing for all other heroes that the dreamgirl fell for him;-)
