do it, Mukhtar ji, please tell me, please, pleeeeeeesease. Thanks".

@kuckudk . Thanks, Sharmaji, for the forward. In the 1940s, KLS, Jagmohan,
and Pankaj Mullick were the male troika that reigned supreme on the radio.
I am a pushover for Jagmohan. His soothing voice can easily be used as a
pain-relieving drug. This song is clearly an adaptation of Meghduta( "
Cloud Messenger"), the great Sanskrit poem of Kalidasa, the Shakespeare of
ancient Gupta Dynasty. The presentation by myvision22 is a fitting visual
rhapsody and a labor of love. Wonderful!
V. Siddhartha on June 27, 2010
@myvision22 .Kamal Dasgupta was a noted composer and a lyricist and singer
too. He was married to the Bengali singer Firoza Begum. He gave many tunes
to Jagmohan, Juthika Roy, and Kanan Devi.

Jagmohan ne kabhi khwab bhi na dekha ho ga geet wo aaj ga raha hai 70 saal
guzarne k baad Lyallpur ka aik funkar os geet ko itnay khoobsurat andaz
mein pesh kare ga . Yeh peshkush irti umda hai aur iss mein itni znazaktein
hein jin ki wazahat k liye aik mazmoon darkar hai, Iss pumbhal poosay main
ulajhne ki bajaye behter hai k I may watch it once more .

watching the visual clipping with musical input is a real treat to soul and
very soothing to mind. It is very imaginative, innovative and excellent
with reference to expressing the moods matching to the wordings, tunes and
musics and of course the various shades of two original colors black and
white.

It is very engrossing putting any one in the state similar to meditations
leading towards tranquility and divinity together. It may be able to
attract back the hi-tech generation towards the rich ethnic tradition.

@chamogaa Thank you for comments on my video. It is your comments which

The classic "Meghdootam" is recreated in Jagmohan's immortal voice by
kamaldas gupta and very tenderly presented through excellent video
compiliation by Mukhtarji. I think a video creator of this calibre shud be
a good film director, very appropriate selection of video montage capturing
the mood of the song. Hearty congratulations Mukhtarji.

Muktar Bhai Jiyo hazar saal, yeh mera aaseerwad (blessings) ka sandes hai.
As detailed by Tenioberoi , Kavi Kalidas has written a great Kavyam called
MEGHADUTHAM in Sanskrit, also known as MEGHASANDESAM. Kamal Das Guptha was
a great composer. Thanks and blessings Uma Maheswar Nakka

Mukhtar bhai, This song is a classic film interpretation of the great
Indian poet Kalidas (4 th century) written great epic called Meghdoot.
Kalidas was the first poet in the subcontinent to conceive of the idea of a
cloud carrying a message. Great song. Bahot shukriya.
Ajay Yuvraj on July 23, 2010
Great work Mukhtar bhai, Beautifully done.

Capt Kundaliya comments; Excellent performance !! Keep it up. From deep
past to present.
vintagemelodies on July 25, 2010
Dear Sir, Thanks for this excellent combination of visuals commensurate
with the moods of the song by Jagmohan 'Sur Sagar'. The theme is similar to
that of Kalidasa's Epic Poem 'Meghadootam' wherein the a 'yaksha', the
demi-gods in indian mythology sends the cloud as his messenger to convey
his thoughts to his beloved wife far away. with regards
passion689 on July 26, 2010
This is one of the most exraordinary presentations I have come across. Touching lyrics are sequenced with equally touching and befitting background scenes, particularly the lightening storm and swiftly moving restless clouds, depicting the heart in extreme turmoil. Thank you Mukhtar ji for sharing it with me, I enjoyed watching it. Take care.

@Pashambay Dear Balouch Sahib, Thanks for writing knowledgeable comments on
our favourite song. I am proud of my creation on this great song. Actually,
when I was middle school student, I would listen radio Ceylon for hours in
search of two songs 1. O varsha ke pehle badal.. from geets and 2. Kaise
koi jiye .from old song. In the course of waiting for these songs, I would
listen and started liking many other songs too. Please email the song at
mukhtarasheikh@hotmail.com Thanks Mukhtar

You suggested to listen his song, but when I heard his voice and I was
thinking it is like Jagonmoy Mitra, but I did not know that in Hindi his
name is Jagmohon. He is my very favorite singer in Bengali, specially his
songs called Chiti, 15. Ami Duranta Baishakhi Jhar and others. Did you read
his interview with Quereshi?
Mukhtar Lyall-puri on February 25, 2011
@bazlur Yes, his original name is Jagonmoy Mitra. In Hindi songs, he is
called Jagmohan or sursagar. I feel, he is more renown in Bengal.
