during this song recording , asha accidentally sang a bit of kishore's version. after the recording aasha wanted to have one more take but kishore denied saying the since he's the hero in the movie , he'll stop heroine by singing when that moment comes. .. you can watch that @ 2:16

Asha Bhosle shared a nice trivia about the song: While recording the song, she committed a mistake when she began her entrance after the 2nd stanza before Kishore's lines were to get over. Kishore gestured her to continue and they finished the song. Asha was keen to re-do the song but Kishore assured that he'd take care of the flaw by putting his hand on the heroine's mouth during the shoot. It is seen at 2:19 in this video. O P Nayyar was a mastero indeed.

listen to the ending of song, while Kishor remaining in his usual carefree
style, Asha sounded truly professional in her aalaap tuning well in with

Pls. do not make such controversial statements like he was the best. yes,
he was unique. I like Kishore, Lata, Rafi, Manna and Asha. All the other
four had a deeper background in classical music and could sing all kinds of
songs while the same couldn't be expected of Kishore. He sure was brilliant
in light non-classical songs including sad numbers, but not with all kinds
of songs.

at 2:14 Kishore puts hand on lady's mouth, it was Asha's mistake in
recording the song, but they didnt record the song again, and kishor made
