I would count this song as top of the list of all songs sung by Lata. The
lyrics beutifully portraying the eternity of love beyond the scales of
time. It would have brought tears to the eyes of all those who remeber
thier loved ones lost in the mist of time yet their memories fresh as ever.
The shrill voice of Lata in an enchating tune with Jaltrang in between
echoing in the valleys. Music and singing does not get better than this,

All the versions are equally sweet & elegant. This reminds me of the asha
bhonsle song "tera dil kahan hai sub kuchh yahan hai" from chandani
