Sahir sahib's poetry is better the then any actor can act upon.Even
listening with closed eyes this Ghazal is so beautiful and of course Rafi
sahib was one the best thing that happened to the Golden Age of bombay

This ghazal has two other siblings in the same movie (i.e. ghazals in the
same 'zameen'), "ishq ki garmi-e-jazbaat" (also sung by Mohd. Rafi) and
"naghma-o-sher ki" (sung by Lata M.) Madan Mohan created three ghazals of
different tones from essentially the same tune with artful variations,
which speaks volumes about his creativity. Sahir's poetry in all three is
superb. Mohd. Rafi excelled in both the ghazals he sang, but he took this
one to a level that other singers can only dream about reaching.
