Surprising that this movie was declared the biggest disaster in Indian Cinema ! It didn't run even for a few days , though Sri at least was good enough in it !!!!

It didnt run, may be becoz of its tragic ending,where both of them die (if
my memory is good)!! even i dont like watching it becoz of that
ending,though i am a big fan of Sridevi!!and also this story is known to
everyone... but it was a classic film...

Im not a fan of remaking classics but the thing is that Anil kapoor is
miscasted. I think Sri was the perfect choice for Heer but for Ranjha I
cant really think of anyone else playing him.

Raj Kumar was better than Anil as Ranjha but Sridevi was alot better than
Priya as Heer

tooo.and the ending part is... wht should i say u guys know it.. i

I recommended this film to an english friend who started a lot of bollywood films lately, she said Heer Ranjha is one of the best films she liked, she was crying in the end, though the ending was predictable, but sri made it look real.

I read recently that Sri is a very good painter also. At Salman's residence
while Boney and Salman were talking, she painted a lord Jesus with lord
Buddha in his heart. What a talent she is! Salman got that painting framed
and sent to Sridevi. Salman himself is a good painter too.
