maybe it was destroyed. But I heard this song, listened to the different
renditions/versions of this song including the folk versions. Just because
coke studio presented it in a form people of my generation find it easy to
relate to. If this is not done. These songs will soon vanish. And that will
be a great loss to our culture.

u might want to read about hason raja too. He died in 1922 and sung this
too. I wonder how he managed to steal the lyrics from someone who was born
more than a decade later. U must also have proper information before making

by her, not created by her. This has has been around way before she was
even born. I can say this because I'm an Indian whose family shifted during
the partition and my grandmother sings this song and claims that her mother

Goalporiya traditional song and its been here since eternity way before ur
hason raja or whatever were even born.Protima Barua popularized it among
the masses maybe just like what ur hason did back then in bengladesh.Infact

song. And that was because, many of ur dear assamese people claim that ur

passion...its purity is the very evidence of this song's origin...not to
cause any controversy- the concept of SHUNDORI KAMALA is purely a East
Bengal (presently known as Bangladesh from 1971) concept; the very basic

Music has been tradition of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan family for over 600
years. Nusrat further carried his family tradition in this world. Sufi,Folk
and Qawwali music is heavily influenced by PERISAN/Urdu/Arabic while indian
classical is total Sanskrit, so forget it. ok, did you know you indian are
