A terrific song...simply loved it. Very effectively performed by Rafi ji and nicely presented by Shammi ji.

While we, the earthling fans can fight and argue about who is better singer and who isnt, we should only look at the professionals in the field. Almost every professional has made it very clear without any hesitation that Rafi sahab was a far superior singer, not only than Kishore Kumar but also than other singers of his time. Lata ji, Manna Dey, SPB, Naushad, OP Nayyar, now Sonu (list goes on) all have spoken in favor of Rafi. So, no use in fighting over the fact! Accept the fact and move on!

Kishore sang this song BETTER than Rafi.the reason is simple: Kishore was a better singer & perhaps the best till date. Rafi sahab was great, but after Kishore. P.S.Kishorejee never learned music unlike other playbacksingers.

haran,s voice.trust me, i felt he was,nt singing ,he was just crying.Now i

i had been listening to so many Rafi songs but I didn't realize it was the
same uploader. thank you so much! I always say this on youtube because I
don't think a lot of people of my generation (I am 23 btw) who live in the
west have been able to understand the value of music like this and I feel

@KhanSahabJi - you should accept the fact that both were great singer. And
why only both, lata, asha, manna da, mukesh, all are legendary. If you do
not think so then you have a very narrow understanding of music. Every
singer have their own style, rafi has a sweet melodious voice, kishore's
energy can not be matched, manna da a classical delight, lata is the queen,
and the list goes on.
