only Rafi or M Rafi or something else. When once Nehru offered him an
award, he asked for this that he should be called Muhammad Rafi from now
on, as before that he was only called Rafi. Hope u understand. When he came
back from Hajj in his last days, he refused to sing bhajjans and said t hat

We should not forget Latadidi. She sung this song equally good. Both sung
this song superbly. Both Rafishab and Latadidi are great singers along with
our yester year singers like Kishorda, Mukeshji, Mannaday and Ashaji. Music

I don't understand how you can be only one singer's fan when others also
have given great songs. I think it is the song's lyrics, tune,
instrumentation everything matters not just the singer. And we cannot
compare two great singers like rafi and kishore kumar. Just enjoy their

Dear@mbst2008 , It is not the matter of comparision between two
singers,Kishore da and Rafi sb.indeed both sung great songs but the DARD in
rafi sb.voice cannot be campared to anyone.Rafi sb.songs can easily be
identified by tone/pitch of the song and one can easily recognise who is
singing this song in the movie.just listen a song of rafi sb.from the movie
SUYAMVAR,mujhe choo rahee hain teri garm sansen...then u will realize.
