Haha Very interesting way to look at it. But amazing that this song appeals
across generations like that. In many ways these songs make me feel
romantic and define the emotion of 'indian love' in a intangible sort of
way. You feeling of jealousy is testimontial that we still have the pure

This was RD Burman's genius .he was able to create such songs with
great ease especially with Kishore and give them a modern touch , but yet
very pleasing to hear...it can be said that he wswa indeed ahead of his

singers. Kishore was supposed to be in Indian politics than in singing (he
would have been a PM). I completely agree that he gave us really good songs
in the expense of one of the best K.J. Yesudas. Kishore will come only
behind K.J. Yesudas and Mohd. Rafi. (if u need proof, read rajesh roshan
interview about the song in the movie Swami or read interviews of Ilayaraja
or A.R. Rahman.
