hamidfchohan on January 21, 2010 This song is an excellent song. Dilip Kumar (Yusuf Khan) is the best actor of the world and will remain so for ever. Musician Sajjad has composed an enthralling tune.

ancientdictator on February 19, 2010 simply spellbinding
amrutvani2 on March 03, 2010 All time great song by talat and sajjad combination. The only drawback ?
Dilip Kumar not singing for Madhubala but for Shammi. !
araniees on March 22, 2010 In Both the songs , " Thuje kya sunaavu mai dilruba (Sekhar,Rafi,MadanMohan,Aakhari daav) and in this song " Shammi " appears as an " Extra " only---Arani Apparao-Hyderabad-A.P.
chaitanya sardeshpande on April 14, 2010 Talat & Sajjad Hussain at their best.
neeraj12462 on May 14, 2010 old actress were gorgeous as well
Voltairec on May 21, 2010 @araniees-The song itself is stunning not only for Talat's lilt but for the
most romantic nay delicately sensuous picturization. Shammi lierally seems
to be floating in Dilip's charm.personally i like Aakhri Dau though for
Nutan's expression of awkward love, pity, respect, confusion and
helplessness.I watched it a million times and would watch a billion more
times;-)
1955shashi on June 30, 2010 This Talat number is an all time hit. Lovely lyrics, melodious music composition & so soulfully sung by Talat. So sad that they dont make such beautiful songs any more. Thanks for uploading this rare gem.
Iqbal Singh Toki on July 13, 2010 @araniees Both these songs have a similar melody. In fact, the late music
director Sajjad Hussein is said to have complained to the late music
director Madan Mohan about it. I am sure, this must have been only a divine
coincidence since both these Music Directors were original, melodious and
great.
riyaz153 on July 20, 2010 best song, i have no word, thanks for uploaded

mastkalandr on April 21, 2012 Friend !.. Thanks for sharing n feedback..
Sam Hariharan on April 25, 2012 The plot you describe sounds more like Wuthering Heights (not Jane Eyre) by
Emily (not Charlotte) Bronte.
mastkalandr on April 25, 2012 Thanks for sharing infro..
Ashoke Mahtani on May 01, 2012 Talat Mahmood also soulfully sang Main dil hoon ek armaan bhara too aake
mujhe pehchan zara in Anhonee(1952) where the SOLE musical accompaniment
was a PIANO Therefore not all WESTERN instruments are to be derided as
appears from your post- Musics music whether Indian or Western- One form
does not get better by putting down the other- for real music lovers- We
should refrain from nationalistic jingoism which is the domain of
fundmentalists not music lovers
tanvir shah on May 07, 2012 A very decent & thorough expression

bipin desai on July 21, 2012 Wonderful song and silky voice.
Benjamin A Britto on October 01, 2012 what a song , voice of talat and rafi sahab on screen its a treat to the
senses
jongo quasi on October 02, 2012 Forget about the sounds... this is a song why are you commenting about a
plot... the song is great.. and the movie has the plot of Jane Eyre for a
fact read the book and watch the movie.
Sam Hariharan on October 02, 2012 Sorry that you were offended by my feedback to the original poster based on
the beautiful post he had along with the song which is visible only when
you ask it to show more. Not sure you saw it. I agree this is a beautiful
song but this was a dialogue with him. I have read the book - just haven't
seen the movie, and the plot summary is abbreviated and the summary has
little to resemble the core of Jane Eyre. But I will take your word for it
- and hope I get to see it.
martin rashid on October 03, 2012 thank for uploading
Sam Hariharan on October 08, 2012 Having now seen the movie, I agree that it is definitely an adaptation
(very loose, and very Indian) adaptation of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
The whole plot twist of childhood sweethearts separated and later meeting
and falling in love is of course a completely new twist to the original.
Lovely song. Dilip Kumar acts with his usual passion in this song clip.
