I heard the CokeStudio version first of this song, it was good but somehow
i felt it was too harsh for a ghazal and now when i hear the original
version..i feel right :) Pure class !

Ghazal is not only about voice and music.. its about technique and delivery
of accurate mood of emotion to be delieverd. original song has been master
piece. Coke studio could have experimented with totally changing the whole
style of song and composition. the attempt to copy bano's singing style has
made infusion not a very easy-to-ear kinda song.

There is no comparison of both singers.Best Ghazal of its time and thats why many singers tried to sing it. Meesha sings it very well too. CS recordings r awesome & again no comparison of today's tech to a Black&White video. May be some pple dont know Iqbal Bano and her songs. thanks to coke studio in helping them to introduce to legends. when I listen to Arif Lohar's Jugni on Coke studio, I also listen to old version of it.Both reflects its time and one is born because of existence of other.
