Old is Gold...
Makusanyo on June 30, 2009 I absolutely agree with swimtube007, nothing recorded in the last 20 years (25?) can touch a single song of the 50's, 60's and 70's. And as Liberate006A says - AWESOME SONG!!!!!!
DrZulqarnain on July 03, 2009 I am too small a person to comment on such melodious song.

crazyoldsongs on September 23, 2009 wonderful ! i can listen to lata's sweet voice and salil's beautiful music
endlessly. salil had a knack of fusing western claasical with indian music
without the song losing its indianness.western claasical in between the
verses and indian , when the verses started , is noticeable in many of
salil's compositions . and what poetry ! in those days, about which one
can't even imagine nowadays ! and lastly the stars of yesteryears looked so
sweet and innocent ! it was another world altogether !
rumahale on September 25, 2009 Thanks for liking and beautiful critique. Greatness lies in it that these
songs are being listened to even after five decades. You are
right...Indeed it was another world. Regards.

aamburamesh on November 06, 2009 The song is inspired by a MOZART requiem tune.Music know no boundaries.Listening to the song one feels the lyrics & the tunes were made for each other.Selection of Talatji & Lataji by the composer is an another good point for the song.
ShahidAndShahid on November 09, 2009 thank yu very much up loding this song thanks

amimaverick on December 01, 2009 NO WORDS! AWESOME SONG! Timeless infact!
jyotiprakashguha1 on December 02, 2009 This is inspired by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 40th symphony in G minor (the first movement)
JPG
ashokbo on December 19, 2009 The melody is directly taken from Mozart's G Minor Symphony (no.40). Very creative!!
GyanFavoriteSongs on December 21, 2009 Even though the tune is copied, this song sounds so much better than Mozart symphony :-)
ashokbo on December 22, 2009 They both are good in their own way
aceji on December 29, 2009 Original tune by Mozart but this lovely HINDI memory is by SHALIL CHAWDHURY.

ashokyadav1231 on January 06, 2010 This actress is Aisha Parekh and actor is Sunil Dutt
nishantvshah on January 15, 2010 agreed, the music part is not, but the tune and flow of the words are surely inspired as they say :P
ravindragokhale on January 19, 2010 Timeless classic. Many thanks.
netfriendlygal on January 24, 2010 hve always lked the tune of this song & lyrics ...
screenflicker1 on January 25, 2010 Yeah absolutely. All you gotta do is hear it on youtube Mozzart symphony 40
sohihs on February 04, 2010 not o nly influenced it is directly take over from mozart this tune appeared in an album in early 60s as arbian nights same was also synchrosised with fountains in mysore dam gardens
KiranGopalAshtekar on February 10, 2010 So is Sunil Dutt !! What dignity.
NathuramSweetsay on February 16, 2010 Sur part of this song is a tune of Mozart's Symphony #40
awanta86 on February 21, 2010 non nathuran cette symphony n'a pas de mozart comme tu penses mais de bethoven.
MAYOGARDENS on February 21, 2010 The song is sure an improvement of Mozart's tune. The singers and the music director are lot more greater than the tune of Mozart. We don't know for sure where did Mozart picked up this tune. Poetry is a masterpiece by itself. I think it is an honor for Mozart that this tune has been sung by such great singers, who are heard all over the world, much more than Mozart itself.
Lahori Munda from New York
ashokbo on March 20, 2010 I am sure Mozart was quite fond of Indian movies
united016 on March 31, 2010 yeah, he said in an interview that this movie directly influenced him to write the symphony 40
