mahendar s on September 16, 2011 but I feel the antra is actually an improvement on mozart's theme. beautifully adapted. Don't underestimate Indian musicality, it is thousands of years older than its western counterpart. peace
Janaky23 on September 17, 2011 i think it is a great song. it takes a genius to get inspired from another one. the surround music is always great in salil da's compositions

amirnt30 on January 12, 2012 Correction, its actually Beethovens Symphony # 40
amirnt30 on January 12, 2012 For your information its known as plagiarising which the Indian Film Industry often did in the days of yore. You have heard of copy right infringment and such things I am sure.
NeiltheGriffin on February 02, 2012 Recorrection, it is actually Mozart's Symphony # 40 1st Movement
You need better ears!
Rairtyfashionstar1 on February 24, 2012 awsum song just cant compare anyone with with lata and talat sahab. Its like a butterfly song that is so adorable and beautifully sang.LIKE THAN THUMBS UP
maulikdoshi007 on May 17, 2012 i agree .. but remember .. indian music is not only abt singing ,.. we have dozens of instruments which precede west by thousand yrs .. and i m a musician too ... and believe me ... singing .. that is voice ... is the most difficult instrument ..
sackadoodle on May 26, 2012 Why are you trying to compare and compete? I don't understand why in India so many people are always trying to prove superiority in relation to the west. It's a sign of gross insecurity. You are you and they are them. Both can coexist, both are beautiful. Appreciating some beauty from another culture doesn't make you less Indian. Any instrument can be difficult depending on how well you want to play it... I myself play over 20 instruments, so I can tell you from experience.

786azharquadri on November 15, 2012 Listen this particular song very very carefully and then listen to 'jay ho' of Slumdog millionaire of a r Rahman for which he got best original score Oscar...the Oscar winning song is nothing but a poor copy of the original 'itna n.a. mujhse tu pyar badha. The so called modern day great composers are simply lifting tunes from the old classics changing a string here and there and presenting as their original scores...pity on them..
Gourang Ambulkar on November 23, 2012 Dear Azhar Quadri sahab, I am equally fond of old composers similar to you, however, this particular song here has a tune that was inspired ( if not 'lifted') from Mozart's symphony # 40. What do you have to say for that? I have more examples where many of the so called 'Revered' old composers have lifted tunes which were existing. ( another eg: The intro tune of Ghar aaya mera pardesi is an old Afghan tune :-) )
786azharquadri on November 23, 2012 Dear Gaurav Ambulkar Saab, thanks for the response and a new enlightenment for me. I am fond of subcontinent music.not much knowledge about western scores... However I vague memorary of having come across this tune but was not aware who was inspired by whom. You have updated my knowledge for which am grateful...but that doesn't give license to Mr a r Rahman to call it his original score, and take away the award..
786azharquadri on November 24, 2012 To continue further on this I recently came across 'dum mast khalendar mast mast' nusrath Fatah Ali khan which inspired Indian composer and it became 'tu cheese Badi hai mast mast'.. and there are no. Of them vice versa. But I do not think they ever claimed them as their original scores..What do you say..

venkat Raman S. on February 04, 2014 Of course, it is a straight lift from Mozart, but only a small part, but
it is still a lovely composition, and all the three, Salilda, Talat
Mehmood, and Lata Mangeshkar have done exceptionally well
mohit pant on October 02, 2015 One can only say Wow! & lament for the bygone era of golden music and
