Kenny G on August 16, 2013 Is Rahman's bengali good? that female lead singer & chorus are awesome,
they sung wonderful... blaze and drums mani are show stoppers! god!
kajal mondal on August 16, 2013 A R pronunciation is good, no doubt about that. Those who questioned about
that they dont know bengali ...
kajal mondal on August 16, 2013 ^^^ (Tui bangla janis na re) you dont know bengali yaar.. Or you may be too
possessive about Tagore ( Tagore tor baper naa re tagore sara bharoter)..
And rahman's pronunciation is fantastic.. and Rahman does not changed the
music created by Tagore he just take a poem of Tagore and put it in a
song... and done absolutely fantastic job.( jakhon nachiketa Thakurer
gaan niye keccha kore takhon kothay thako bhai tumi, ar ei mahashoy ekta
kobita niyeche ar dosh hoye gache..)

Govind Sharma on August 16, 2013 This is translation of Tagore's poem Where the mind is without fear and the
head is held high Where knowledge is free Where the world has not been
broken up into fragments By narrow domestic walls Where words come out from
the depth of truth Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards
perfection Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way Into the
dreary desert sand of dead habit Where the mind is led forward by thee Into
ever-widening thought and action Into that heaven of

naufal adam on August 16, 2013 Gr8 song...!!! Waiting for other tracks..
Kitty Cat on August 16, 2013 Good composition...but Rehman's Bengali pronunciation is poor
sreeraj keedayil on August 16, 2013 Suchi is a south Indian singer Suchithra karthik kumar?
Ram prabhu on August 16, 2013 Are you kidding? It's different suchi. Dude, suchitra karthik kumar is RJ
turned singer. She's not a trained classical singer and she never sang for
rahman. Just look at the sargam. I think she's bengali and her voice is
beautiful...
B Srinivas on August 16, 2013 Wonderful amalgamation of Indian and western. Raag Kedar got a new
dimension!!!.Rahman Its you who can only do!!!!

Anirban Saha on August 17, 2013 You still "think" she is a bengali ? (after having listened to her bengali
singing - Tagore words, which even I find tough to pronounce)
Bhumika Katiyar on August 17, 2013 Such a aweSome soNG... :)

Mercy Vanaja on August 17, 2013 that's right, she is Suchismita Das, a Bengali versatile singer...
ayan m on August 17, 2013 WOW. salute to Sir ARR ...206 deaf & dumb have disliked it
Nilanjan Dutta on August 17, 2013 nce music nce song bt very bad bengali pronounciation by rehman bt still
nce try
rudresh on August 17, 2013 Great arrangements, but I would have seriously appreciated if AR Rehman
didn't try to sing Tagore's song in Bengali, Diction just hurts ears. There
are many bengali contemporary Rabindra Sangeet singers who would have been
easily used in this song.
vidiyall on August 17, 2013 I do not understand Bengali still I sing Jana Gana Mana - the ultimate
spirit its my Nation's Anthem, I do not question diction or how I pronounce
it - at the same time each language has to be respected here - with AR
Rahman I see it as my National spirit more than the language diction.
Dibyadyuti Basu on August 17, 2013 Wow... Rehman, no words for such excellence... You made Tagore proud!
Indeed such vision a 100 years back when Tagore wrote this is mind-blowing!
If Tagore was alive, he would have blessed you! Please continue the good
work...this is even better than Zarya...
rudresh on August 17, 2013 Jana Gana Mana has highly Sanskritised bengali wordings, one of the reason
that a Non-bengali can easily pronounce and understand it. Where is this
lyrics are very much bengali. Can't be compared on same line. The point
here is a Bengali singer would have done better job of this song than AR
singing himself. The spirit would have been same if not better.
