Somdatta03 on August 30, 2012 The pronunciation mistakes have spoiled the whole song. I don't understand!
If one sings an English song in an Indian accent, would that be accepted?
Then why Hindi or any Indian song sung with an English accent is so hyped!!
It spoils the mood, spoils the song, spoils everything:( I like the mixing,
the English part, the music but sadly the heart of the song, the Hindi part
spoils everything for me:(
Anirban Ghosh on August 30, 2012 Could you please clarify what do you mean by pronunciation mistakes here.
"If one sings an English song in an Indian accent, would that be accepted?
" What is the issue of acceptance? The english is not in Indian accent as
far as your statement. Quite a lot tounge rolling is involved in the
singing. "It spoils the mood, spoils the song, spoils everything:(" It may
spoil your mood but made 13,765 happy. The problem is that some of us do
not accept fusion in a whole hearted way.
Pavan Mehta on September 02, 2012 I wish his pronunciations were more crisp. Bawla and Bawra Makes a lot of
difference. Otherwise nice effort

write2pras84 on September 22, 2012 Don't look at the video. Close your eyes and listen to the O Re Piya part
again. And then tell if there really is not feel to the song.
ilk klv on September 22, 2012 lol i did not say anything about video. and yes i tried couple times i did
not see the feeling in o re piya that it should have. he sings it like he
is tired and he has no energy left.
Amrita Talukder on September 22, 2012 Hindi pronunciations could be a bit more clear...specially that 'Hai' ...it
was supposed to be Haye.. (bar the actual 'Hai').. :) I had watched this
video on MTV Roots.. just blew me off! ^_^ .. mesmerizing music.. :)
