song probably asks us to introspect then to start another blame game. By
giving credit only to Aamir you are probably disregarding all those people
who are already working in this area but we don't know about. Definitely
Aamir have rightly projected the issue with intense research and no

india . unborn girls are killed in fetus cos people dont want a daughter in
their house ... they want sons ...this song is an appeal to the people who
commit such crimes including doctors to stop all these acts ..allow a girl
child to open her eyes in this world .. give her equality and she'll make r
family proud ...

Basic genetic teaches us that the gender is determined by the man. While
every man has a 2 distinct chromosome (XY), women have two of the same kind
(XX). So, the chromosome Y, which makes a boy, is provided by the man. It's
genetic roulette. So when I read about the pressure put on women to have
boys, and not girls, it really drives me crazy. If someone was to be
pressured, not that it will have any sway in the final result, it is the
man. He's the one who provides the Y chromosome. Or not.

One of the best shows ever aired on Indian Telly. Aamir Khan is truly an
inspiration to all of us. Its shocking to see how female infanticide is
still prevalent in India, especially in the urban cities! People really
need to understand the importance of a girl child. Without a girl child,
who is going to carry your legacy forward? I admit its the man whose name
gets carried forward, but you need a woman to give birth to that child who
will carry the legacy forward. Wake up India. Grow up.

This is a noble cause undertaken to address a grave problem facing us. It
is now up to us all to open our eyes and fight the menace that is female
foeticide. This is not a game of one-upmanship and if all we can take from
this is that Aamir is better than others and forget the issue at hand, then
even he would be very disappointed.

This song reminds me of a small cat which came to my house. I use to put
