In one live programme at Mumbai Talat aziz said Mehdi Hasan is his guru and

tune. all the way he and many others were remebering about Mehdi Hasan and

What an evergreen ghazal of Ahmad faraz composed by my teacher Great Mr.
Nisar Bazmi in raag AIMAN for film Muhabbat 1972 and beautifuly sung by
kahn sahab Mehdi Hassan. it is my favourite & I also sing it frequently.

Who are those sixteen who disliked this ghazal? If they don't have taste
for good rathee excellent music, they should better stop listening to
greats of classical music like Mehdi Hasan Saheb. They should continue with
the 'Kuda' available in Hindi or Urdu ? ghazal!

jaroorat nahi. Bahut parha hai and bana hai bhi, isi liye abhi Mehdi sahab
ke ghazal sukoon se sunn ne ka mauka mila hai :-)
