kis ko batayenge judai ka sabab hum: to whom all must I explain the reason
of our separation; Tu mujh se khafa hai tou zamanay ke liye aa: even if

I first heard Runa Leila's version of this gazal and enjoyed it. Then I
read a comment that Sir Mehdi Hasan's version is far better. I wondered
what that could be. Then I clicked on two pure streams of meaning in
musical form flowing through the ears to the mind. There are 455 pages of
praise, admiration and tributes. All richly deserved by Sir Mehdi Hasan,
lyricist Ahmad Faraz, composer and the musicians. I do not recall becoming
a fan on first hearing!!! Thanks for lyrics and meanings.
