first of all my friend.its "sunte hain" not "kehte hain"... secondly
Jagjit and Chitra sang this ghazal a lot before their son died.. even
before their marriage (in a concert)... Chitra singh left singing after
the death of their son. But "sunte hain" is a duet.. Thirdly
Jagjit sang "Ab khushi hai na koi dard rulane wala" in the memory of his
son after his death

Agreed. Neither such music or shape of Ghazal can be crafted or molded in
such a silky way that this magician had done, people like Jagjit are larger
then life, they become immortal due to their work and style. no one like
Jagjit in present or future age could be seen coming.
