The Brewers have lost all their games in September as well, But your logic
states they played the unstoppable Mets so it's OK. The Brewers play the
same teams How about those 6 games in one week vs. the Pirates, worst team
in the division. Now the Brewers get to play the Padres the worst team in
baseball for four games at home.

The Chicago Cubs are simply the biggest disgrace to the great city of
Chicago since that cow knocked over that lantern and started that great big
fire. Seriously, the Cubs are a prime example of "false hope" The only
Chicago ballclub with "World Championship" footage here on YouTube is the
REAL Chicago ballclub, the White Sox. The team that truly plays ball and
wins a World Series. You Cub fans are just jealous because Cub fans have NO

I'm glad we can be civil. My thoughts were that the NL Central will be
decided by the 2 series between the Cubs and Brewers because obviously
neither team seems capable of defeating anyone else at this point. The only
Division locked up is the AL west, everything else is to close to call.
Wild Cards are even more strange at this point. The Cards thanks to the
Brewers are only 3½ out with a 3 game series coming up between the Brewers
and the Phillies who are only 3 games back.

if wood continues to pitch that terrible, im hoping Lou allows either
Marmol or Samardzija to be their closer.. Not all teams in the NL are
"god-aweful". yea, all youd have to say is "NL West" and nobody here
wouldnt agree with you more, but you're leaving out the NL Central and East
which do have good teams mind you. Angels are in a division where the 2nd
place team is 4 games under .500 and 17.5 games out of 1st; that's worse
then god-aweful. at least the NL keeps it interesting!!

mets have been hit with injuries upon injuries.. they just lost wagner
maybe even through 2009; depends on how bad the diagnosis is. DB's
pitching, besides webb, is terrible amongst the NL.. but what have the cubs
done this year against terrible pitchers? made them look like Cy Young
candidates, lol.. Brewers.. like the cubs, they'll pull out of it soon..
both cubs and brewers have kept their places remarkably well but if they
continue to win 1 game out of 5 then goodbye playoffs

september is the month were close to last place teams turn on their jet
engines and start burning those in first or at least in contention; and
we've not only seen that in the NL but the AL as well. nobody's doing well
this month except for toranto and houston.. two teams that were deemed out
of the race by mid july but turned it on as if they were in 1st place but
forgot about it.. both the NL and AL are suffering against teams like these
two or even teams like the reds/seattle.. spoiler month

DH wouldnt fly for the NL only b/c they want to keep it original.. the only
reason why the AL has the DH spot is b/c they believe pitchers shouldn't
bat; its basically not their job to hit.. which is justifiable.. the MLB is
kind of combined anyway, hense interleague play, but to combine both AL and
NL as a whole wouldn't be wise only b/c MLB would be looking at more then
162 games per season.. which would fatigue these ball players even more-so.

doesnt matter, fact is, they won. they can load the bases up for 9 innings
straight and only score 2~3 runs.. just as long as the other team is
trailing it honestly doesnt matter. the only downside to all of this is
scoring in clutch just to have some insurance.

actually pretty dumb to say winning 4-3 and then winning 3-2 with pure luck
is manhandling.. how many years has it been since the Cubs won a world
series so far? Oh that's right the past is irrelevant because you have such
